  • Fee ¥175,000
    The fee includes followings;
    - Accommodations (Your choice either double bed or two singles in the Hut.) Mar 1st to the 8th: 8 days and 7 nights
    - Two organic meals a day (Breakfast and lunch)
    - Yoga session with Rachel Zinman about 5 to 7 hours a day.

    Deposit ¥ 30,000 *please pay the deposit in 3 days after booking.
    l Not refundable, it counts toward the whole fee.
    l We will confirm your seat when we receive the deposit from you.

    Payment Due Date December 25th
    The rest of the fee has to be paid by this due date. Otherwise your registration will be cancelled automatically.

    **Discount Plan**
    Get discount by signing up by Christmas, December the 25th!

    a. Friends Plan: ¥155,000 Only if you sign up with your friend(s). You will be able to share the Hut with your friend. Share the experience, and join the retreat with your friends!

    b. Single Plan: ¥165,000
    You will share a Hut with one of the participants.

    What you get from this retreat is;
    - The hours of this retreat can be transferred as credits toward any affiliate courses and/or trainings of Yoga Alliance.
    - You will get 5 % off for any holistic treatments at the retreat facility.
    *The minimum people count is 15.


Terms and Conditions

 

  • See all terms and conditions.
  • A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit (20%) is due for each person upon registration.
  • You can register online on this page and you will receive an email confirming the availability and price.
  • The balance monies due shall be paid by the customer to Lotus Yoga Retreat not less than 4 weeks prior to the date of departure. Bookings within the last 4 weeks must be paid in full at time of booking. Payment can be made via the web site (Paypal), transfer.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • If payment of neither the deposit nor the balance is not received by the due date Lotus Yoga Retreat reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
  • In the event of cancellation by the customer, the following refund fees, minus the deposit, apply. The deposit is non-refundable:

       Cancellation 2 weeks or less before due arrival date, 0% refund

       Cancellation 2 to 4 weeks before due arrival date, 25% refund

       Cancellation 4 to 8 weeks before due arrival date, 50% refund

       Cancellation more than 8 weeks before due arrival date, 100% refund

  • No transfers are permitted.
  • No refunds will be made for failure to attend or to complete the retreat.
  • Refunds will be processed after the retreat ends. Our cancellation policy is firm.

 

Limitation of Liability

  • Lotus Yoga Retreat can not be responsible nor liable for any injury, illnesses, loss or damage of property, obligations derived from travel arrangements, or disruption of program due to circumstances beyond the control of Lotus Yoga Retreat.

Rachel Zinman

Rachel has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and has taught for 16. Prior to her initial yoga education Rachel trained as a professional dancer and choreographer in the USA and in Australia. Discovering yoga she originally trained in the Iyengar and Ashtanga methods and first began teaching in her role as Head of Dance at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium where she introduced yoga to the curriculum. Her teaching style continues to reflect her deep engagement with the arts – dynamic and precise with an emphasis on mindfulness. While again living in New York from 2000–2004 Rachel met Yoga Works and ISHTA yoga founder Alan Finger teaching in his Be Yoga studios for four years. There she co-created and coordinated the Be Yoga Teacher Training Program, becoming a senior facilitator and mentor. Rachel returned to Australia to teach in the Yoga Arts Teacher Training, and since 2005 has created and facilitated her own teacher trainings and workshops in the ISHTA System in Byron Bay, Sydney, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, India, Bali, Japan, New York and throughout many major cities in Europe. Rachel’s deep personal experience and investigation of meditation allows her to be both intuitive and creative in her work and she feels grateful to be able to share her passion with others.

India is the perfect place to immerse your self in the heart of yoga. Imagine waking at dawn to the sound of the ocean, the smell of incense and morning fires and practicing pranayama and asana as the sun rises. It is said that India is a revelation and a mystery and around every corner is a surprise and it is in this spontaneous environment that the deeper meaning of yoga emerges.


This intensive retreat is designed to deepen your yoga practice through daily pranayama, creatively sequenced vinyasa style practices, tantric meditations, mudras, mantras and an in depth exploration of the devotional practice of Bhakti as well as developing a deeper understanding of the philosophy behind these practices.

Each day includes:
* Pranayama
* Mantra recitation
* Creatively sequenced vinyasa flow practice
*Inspirational tantric meditations
* Group Yantra constructions
*Playful creative sessions to develop concentration stimulate self enquiry and enhance intuition
*Group discussions on personal experiences in meditation
*Support in developing a consistent yoga practice
*Philosophy lectures with the following themes:
-Tantra- Karma and Dharma, shiva/ shakti, kundalini
-How the mind works- Where Yoga and Science meet
-What is Dharana- concentration practices for every day use
-The power of mantra and mudra
-Indian Mythology- Diety stories metaphor or myth?
-The role of Ritual in Tantra
This retreat is Yoga Alliance approved for international accreditation and you will receive a letter of completion at the end of the Retreat

This yoga retreat is 7 days long; we will start in the afternoon of the 01st and finish around lunchtime on the 08th March. The following is the basic schedule we will follow daily, with the exceptions of the first and last day and a rest-day we will take in the middle.
This schedule is flexible and may be adjusted to any special needs or wishes of the group.

6:30-7:30 Chanting/pranayama/devotional bhakti practice
7:45- 9:45 Creative asana sequences and meditation
Breakfast break
11:00-1:00 Philosophy lecture
1:00-4:00 Free time
4:00-6:00 Restorative asanas/ playful exercises/concentration practices/yoga nidra/ yantra construction, kirtan

The holiday retreat is suitable for any level of experience. Whether you have a regular well established practice, or have just recently begun to experience the benefits of yoga these 7 days will give you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself into the deepening of your practice and touch upon an authentic experience of yoga.

The retreat setting also allows for plenty of individual guidance so that we’ll be able to work with your specific level and requirements.
