Getting Here
Lotus Yoga Retreat is situated at the far southern end of Patnem beach, Canacona, Goa 403702, India.
Patnem is south of Palolem in the state of Canacona, South Goa. The nearest village is Chaudi (5-10 mins by taxi or rickshaw) and the nearest city is Margao (1 hour by road).
International flights
International charter flights and domestic flights land at Goa Dabolim airport – an hours drive from Lotus Yoga Retreat.
Alternatively the closest main port of entry for international airlines is Mumbai (Bombay) and from there you can get a connecting flight, train or bus to Goa.

Domestic flights
You can pick up a domestic flight to Goa Dabolim airport from cities like New Delhi, Bangalore (both 2.5 hours), Hyderabad, Jaipur, Varanasi and the closest Mumbai (Bombay) which is a one-hour flight from Goa. There are various very good, low cost domestic airlines. We recommend the following:

Trains
Some trains stop at Chaudi station (only 5-10 mins by rickshaw from Louts Yoga Retreat). Alternatively you can get a train to Margao and then catch a local bus or taxi to Patnem which takes about an hour.

Buses
The Indian bus network is very well developed, although the roads are often rather bumpy and this is definitely the least comfortable option for travelling. Make sure you get a sleeper bus if travelling overnight and possibly even reserve two seats if you don’t want to share your couchette with a stranger.
Buses coming from big cities (Mumbai, Pune, Delhi etc.) stop at Margao so from there you will need to get a local bus or taxi to Patnem. Some buses from the south or east (Hampi) stop at Chaudi (only 5-10 mins by rickshaw).
