If you want to visit India for a yoga holiday, you’ve found the perfect location. Take your time. Ease your mind. Nurture your soul. Reconnect with your strength and inner wisdom. Yoga classes are held in a magical forest garden setting in the jungle or in front of the sea in the beach resort. Whether you’re experienced or new to yoga, you’ll find practising outside a highly rewarding experience – both physically and spiritually. We have at least two classes daily, seven days a week from November through to June.
A Yoga Holiday is the perfect option if you want to stay as flexible as possible because it allows you to take classes spontaneously as you feel on the day. This means you can join in as few or many yoga classes as you like – all included in the price. We have at least two classes daily, seven days a week.
Two yoga Shalas:
The Ocean Shala is right in front of the sea, providing spectacular views, and a great sunset. Our perfect location means there is always a refreshing breeze and so the tropical temperatures never become unbearable for yoga practice.
The Garden Shala is slightly smaller but just as pleasant with a gentle sea breeze.
Our yoga schedule changes regularly in order for guests to experience different styles of yoga with our different resident teachers. Our teachers will adapt the class to the personal needs of each pupil so beginners, intermediate and advanced students are welcome. Classes are held exclusively for guests staying at Lotus Yoga Retreat in order to keep numbers low and class quality high.
Styles of yoga taught include Ashtanga, Hatha, Dynamic, Vinyasa, Flow, Sivananda, Kundalini and Iyengar. Each class includes yoga asana, meditation and pranayama.
You can of course also make full use of all the facilities at Lotus Yoga Retreat.
